Every wallet in this collection is genuine leather: soft nappa, vintage-finish Crazy Horse, cowhide, or leather combined with an aluminum frame. You'll find classic bifolds with 13 to 17 slots, like Venezia, Torino and Germen, compact slim wallets, like Fanatic and Typhos, and smart wallets with a pop-up mechanism and room for an AirTag, like Finder and Xerus Plus. Most have RFID blocking, which stops wireless reading of contactless cards, and Vaduz even locks with a fingerprint lock. Choose by how many cards, how much cash and how many coins you carry.
Genuine leather or faux leather?
Faux leather, also called PU or synthetic leather, is a man-made material that looks like leather. It's light and needs no care, but it doesn't soften or gain character over the years. Genuine leather feels warm, has pores and an uneven grain, and gets better looking with use. Every wallet in this collection is genuine leather; if you want a wallet without leather, the wallets collection also has PU leather, aluminum and vegan fabric wallets.
Nappa, Crazy Horse or cowhide?
Nappa leather is soft and smooth to the touch, used for the classic bifolds like Mattia with 16 card slots and a large coin compartment. Crazy Horse leather takes on a vintage look that improves with use, as on Travorix Plus with 6 slots and a snap closure, and on Oryvenis with a zip-around closure. Cowhide is used on the compact Typhos, with a coin pocket and magnetic button closure, and on Zerianor NexGen, which combines a pop-up mechanism for up to 7 cards with an elastic band for bills.
How to keep a leather wallet for years
Wipe the wallet with a soft dry cloth, and if it gets wet let it air-dry, not near a heater or in the sun. Every few months apply a thin layer of leather cream so it doesn't dry out and crack. Don't stuff more cards into the wallet than it has slots, so the leather doesn't stretch. Genuine leather changes shade slightly over the years, and that's part of its character.
