Vacuum bags with an electric pump skip the tiring part: instead of pumping by hand for minutes, you place the pump on the valve and press a button. Our travel sets come with a cordless rechargeable pump, and for the home bags you can add an electric or rechargeable pump.
Rechargeable pump or corded pump?
A rechargeable pump works anywhere, even in a hotel room without an outlet by the bed, and it's small enough to travel in your suitcase. A corded pump needs no charging and suits the home, when you compress lots of bags at once for a seasonal wardrobe swap.
How to vacuum the right way
Close the zipper all the way, open the valve cap, place the pump straight on the valve and run it until the bag is flat and tight. Screw the cap back on right away. One pump works for all bags with the same valve.

Is the pump included with the bags?
In the Olbia travel set, a rechargeable electric pump comes with every set. For the Lugano home bags, the pump is a separate option on the same page: manual, electric or rechargeable.
How long does it take to compress a bag with an electric pump?
A suitcase-size bag usually compresses in under a minute. A large bag with a down comforter takes longer.
