A travel bag with a fingerprint lock keeps the main compartment locked the whole way: in the hotel room, on the train and at the airport. The FIPILOCK lock on the main zipper opens only for a registered finger, in under a second and with no code to remember, and every bag comes with a personal electronic key. Here you'll find black travel and duffel bags of 20 to 40 liters: the compact Davos in PU leather, Zermatt in water-repellent PU-coated fabric, Montreux in PU leather, and the 40 liter Interlaken in genuine leather and embossed woven fabric.
Which fingerprint travel bag is right for you?
For a short trip, Davos fits: 20 liters, 45 x 22 x 20 cm (about 17.7 x 8.7 x 7.9 in), weighing 1 kg (2.2 lb). For longer trips, Zermatt and Montreux hold 32 liters each, with the same dimensions, 49 x 27 x 24 cm (about 19.3 x 10.6 x 9.4 in), and weigh 1.28 kg (2.8 lb): Zermatt in water-repellent PU-coated fabric and Montreux in PU leather. Interlaken holds 40 liters, weighs 950 g (2.1 lb) and is made of genuine leather and embossed woven fabric.
How the lock works on a travel bag
The main zipper pull ends in a metal tab that locks inside the lock body, and a registered finger releases it in under a second. To lock, push the tab back in. You can store up to 10 fingerprints, so the people traveling with you can open it too, and each additional fingerprint is registered with the admin fingerprint's approval. The lock charges with a USB-C cable, and if your finger isn't recognized, the personal electronic key opens the bag.
Frequently asked questions
Does the travel bag come with a key?
Yes. Every bag comes with its own personal electronic key, paired one to one, that opens the bag without a finger. You pair it once, before registering the first fingerprint.
What do I do the first time?
Out of the box, any finger opens it. Hold a finger on the sensor for about 3 seconds until the blue light comes on, then place the same finger more than 10 times at different angles until the green light comes on.
What are the travel bags made of?
Zermatt is made of water-repellent PU-coated fabric, Davos and Montreux of PU leather, and Interlaken of genuine leather and embossed woven fabric. All are black.
How do I charge the lock?
With a USB-C cable through the port on the lock body. The battery is built in and uses very little power on standby.
