How much does the suitcase weigh when empty?

The suitcase weighs only 3.2 kg, which makes it relatively light for its size and allows you to pack more without exceeding airline weight limits.

Can the wheels be replaced if they break?

Yes, the wheels are replaceable. In case of damage, you can contact Camel Mountain customer service to purchase a replacement wheel set and receive assembly instructions.

Is a softshell suitcase as durable as a hardshell one?

Quality softshell suitcases like the Platinium are more flexible and can absorb impacts without cracking. They are also lighter and usually offer expandability and external pockets.

Can this suitcase be checked in on any airline?

Absolutely. The 24-inch size is designed as check-in baggage and is suitable for all airlines worldwide. It is not intended as a carry-on.

Does the fabric stain easily and how do I clean it?

The Nylon Mélange fabric is relatively stain-resistant. For cleaning, we recommend using a damp cloth with a little mild soap and cleaning the stained area in circular motions. Avoid using harsh chemicals.

What's the difference between 4 wheels and 8 wheels?

This suitcase is equipped with 4 double wheels, meaning 8 wheels in total. The double-wheel structure provides greater stability, smoother movement, and reduces the load on each individual wheel, improving long-term durability.

Is the lock TSA-approved?

No, this suitcase has a standard combination lock to secure the zippers. It does not include a TSA lock.

Do the internal straps really prevent wrinkles?

The internal compression straps hold folded clothes firmly in place, significantly reducing their movement during transit and thereby minimizing the formation of wrinkles.
