Do the suitcases nest inside each other for storage?

Yes, the suitcase set is designed so that the suitcases can be stored one inside the other (like nesting dolls) to save significant storage space at home.

How much weight can each suitcase in the Americano set hold?

Generally, it's recommended not to exceed 10-12 kg for the 20", 18-20 kg for the 24", and up to 23-25 kg for the larger suitcases, depending on airline restrictions. The suitcases themselves are built to withstand higher weights.

Is the large suitcase (32 inch) easy to maneuver when full?

Yes. Thanks to the 4 dual spinner wheels that rotate 360 degrees, even the largest suitcase is easy to maneuver and rolls smoothly, even when fully packed.

Does the nylon fabric tear easily by airport baggage handlers?

The suitcases are made of reinforced 600D cationic nylon fabric, which is highly resistant to abrasion and tearing. However, no softshell suitcase is completely immune to extreme damage, so it's always recommended to inspect your luggage upon arrival.

Are the front pockets large enough for a laptop?

The front pockets are mainly intended for documents, tablets, books, and small items for quick access. The larger pocket on the 20-inch carry-on might fit a small laptop (up to 14 inches), but it does not have dedicated laptop padding.

How do I set the code on the combination lock?

Typically, you need to pull the release button, hold it, set your new code, and then release the button. The default code is 0-0-0. Detailed instructions are included with the set.

What is the main difference between this set and hardshell suitcases?

The main advantages of softshell suitcases like the Americano set are their flexibility, lighter weight, expandability, and external pockets. Hardshell suitcases offer better protection for fragile items against external pressure.

Does the color fade in the sun or after cleaning?

The cationic nylon fabric is relatively fade-resistant. However, like any textile product, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause slight fading over many years. It is recommended to clean with a damp cloth only.
