A wallet with a coin pocket keeps your change in one place, next to your cards and bills, instead of at the bottom of your bag. On some wallets the pocket closes with a snap and on others with a zipper, so choose by how many coins you carry. This page has nappa leather bifolds with a coin compartment, like Mattia and Venezia, compact leather wallets with a zippered coin pocket, like Marco and Exoris, zip-around wallets like Syltrax and Oryvenis, and vegan fabric wallets, like Volume and STO. Snap or zipper?
On Mattia and Venezia the coin compartment closes with a snap, and Travorix Plus closes with a snap and has a compartment for folded bills and coins. On Marco, Exoris and The Uprising the coin pocket closes with a zipper, so coins don't fall out even when the wallet is upside down in your bag. On Syltrax and Oryvenis a zip-around closure seals the whole wallet, coin pocket included. If you carry only a few coins, a compact wallet with a dedicated pocket will do, like Typhos in cowhide with 4 card slots.
Leather or vegan fabric
Most wallets here are genuine leather: nappa, Crazy Horse or cowhide. Volume and STO are vegan fabric wallets, and the 1 cm thick STO has 10 slots for cards and IDs plus a dedicated coin compartment. Krylor Pro is a 5 mm thick PU leather clutch wallet with a coin compartment and zip closure. Fabric and PU wallets need no special care, and genuine leather likes a little leather cream now and then.
