Wallets with Fingerprint Lock
Cards and cash stay locked, and open only to your finger.
A fingerprint wallet has an electronic lock on its main zipper that opens only at the touch of a registered finger. Vaduz, our leather wallet with a FIPILOCK lock, is made of brown genuine leather and weighs 180 g (6.3 oz). The sensor recognizes your finger and releases the zipper in under a second, with no code to remember. It stores up to 10 fingerprints, charges with a USB-C cable, and every wallet comes with its own personal electronic key that opens it without a finger. Your cards and cash stay locked, even if the wallet is lost.
How does a fingerprint lock wallet work?
The main zipper pull ends in a metal tab that locks inside the lock body. When a registered finger touches the sensor, the lock recognizes it and releases the tab, and to lock it you push the tab back in. Out of the box no fingerprint is stored, so any finger opens it. To register the first one, hold your finger on the sensor for about 3 seconds until the blue light comes on, then place it more than 10 times until the green light comes on. From then on only your finger, and other fingerprints you approve, open the wallet.
Who is a fingerprint wallet for?
For anyone who wants their cards, cash and ID to stay locked even when the wallet isn't in their hands, for example in a bag left in a hotel room or on a desk at the office. There's no code to remember, and you can register up to 10 fingerprints, so your partner can open it too. Every additional fingerprint is registered only with the admin fingerprint's approval, meaning the first finger registered. And if your finger isn't recognized, the personal electronic key opens the wallet.
Charging and leather care
The lock charges with a USB-C cable through the port on the lock body, and the built-in battery uses very little power on standby. Wipe the leather with a soft dry cloth and, every few months, nourish it with a thin layer of leather conditioner. If the wallet gets wet, let it air-dry away from heat.
