A laptop sleeve is a slim, padded cover that wraps your laptop and slides into a backpack, handbag or suitcase. It protects against scratches, dust and light knocks without adding bulk: RushX Luxe is only 0.4 cm (0.16 in) thick, and Citrate is 2 cm with shock-absorbing padding. How to choose a sleeve size
A sleeve should fit snugly: a laptop that moves around inside gets less protection. Choose by screen size, and on models that come in several sizes, pick the matching version. NISCO comes in 13 sizes, from 7 to 17 inches, measuring from 20 x 14.2 cm up to 42.5 x 30.5 cm. Citrate comes in a version for up to 14.6 inches and one for 15.6 inches, and RushX Luxe in two sizes, for 13 to 14 and 15 to 16 inches.
Closure and material
A sleeve with a magnetic closure opens quickly and closes without a zipper, like The Mauve Pro, Kyronis Xtreme and the slim RushX Luxe. A zipper closes the sleeve all the way around, as on Nebulae Platinum, The Ocean Pro and the padded The Wobby. Splash Pro, in felt, closes with hook-and-loop. As for materials, neoprene is flexible and shock-absorbing, genuine leather, as on Apens and The Oyster Pro, looks polished in a meeting, and PU or microfiber leather is light and water-repellent.
Sleeves with extras
